Which actor recently announced he had (and beat) prostate cancer?

  1. Robert Di Niro
  2. Ben Stiller
  3. Morgan Freeman
  4. Clint Eastwood

Answer: Ben Stiller

In an interview with Howard Stern, Ben Stiller, now 50 years old, announced that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 48. He was able to beat it, thankfully, but mentioned why he decided to make it public: “I wanted to talk about it because of the [PSA] test … I feel like the test saved my life.”

The PSA test is a blood test used primarily to screen for prostate cancer. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood. PSA is a protein produced by both cancerous and noncancerous tissue in the prostate, a small gland that sits below a man’s bladder1
